RESPONSIBILITIES:
General responsibilities include but are not limited to: steward the creation of facility safety and security
emergency response plans and continuity plans of each facility to be created by a third party- consultant;
direct the implementation and training of the emergency response and contingency plans to facility staff,
clients and resident companies; implement security standards, policies and procedures; identify,
investigate, and resolve security breaches; develop or manage integrated security controls; plan security
for special and high-risk events; coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement,
fire, and other agencies; conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security
policies and regulations; design, oversee and manage security screening protocols for events; oversee and manage off-duty law enforcement as it relates to CAA events. Hire, onboard, train and supervise Safety & Security personnel; manage the use of access control and video management systems; develop and manage budget for security operations; collect and analyze security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments; develop and manage investigation programs; conduct threat or vulnerability analyses; develop, recommend, or manage security procedures for operations or processes; supervise and coordinate activities of traffic control in collaboration with local
law enforcement and municipal agencies and establish traffic control patterns.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of national trends in public assembly venue staffing; able to
exhibit appropriate, professional, and courteous demeanor when interacting with staff, volunteers, and
the public as well as local safety and security agencies; able to effectively and efficiently multitask, set
priorities, shift priorities, and adapt to changes in situations; excellent organizational skills and strong
attention to detail; effective verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills; proficient in Microsoft
Office with the ability to learn and use other software platforms; demonstrate proactive approaches to
problem solving with strong decision-making; adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate
the highest level of customer service and response; work effectively with broad range of people in the
community; work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work
flexible hours, especially evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a minimum of five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Prior training and supervisory experience required. CPR/First Aid experience, and experience with access control systems and cameras preferred.

The position requires the ability to exert moderate physical effort consisting of walking the entire facility
and standing for long periods of time, along with work involving some combination of stooping, kneeling,
crouching, climbing, carrying, and pushing/pulling of objects, and is subject to lift to 40 pounds.
