African Professionals Network - APNET, President & Co-Founder
Dr. Prince Ellis is a tenured Professor o Economics and Finance at the University of Cincinnati and President and Co-Founder of the African Professionals Network (APNET). Originally from Ghana, his work focuses on financial literacy, economic empowerment, global education, and diaspora engagement. At UC he supports innovative learning models including online and HyFlex education. Through APNET he leads initiatives that connect African diaspora professionals and allies, including AfriFest: Taste of Africa, youth and workforce development programs, and entrepreneurship initiatives. Dr. Ellis serves on the Board of Village Life Outreach Project, APNET, IRLC and was appointed by the Governor of Ohio to serve as a Commissioner on the Ohio New African Immigrants Commission. His work builds bridges between universities, businesses, and communities while strengthening connections between Cincinnati, the African diaspora, and international partners.
