DESCRIPTION:The Exchange\, is the African American Chamber's monthly networking session that occurs every third Thursday.  Please join us to network with our corporate members\, MBE's and small businesses for a great networking opportunity. David Goodman\, Director of the Ohio Development Services Agency will be our guest speaker.\n\n\n\nDavid Goodman is the Director of the Ohio Development Services\n\nAgency. The Development Services Agency administers over\n\n70 programs that assist small and emerging businesses and\n\ncommunity development.\n\nGoodman serves as chair of the Ohio Third Frontier Commission\n\nand the Ohio Housing Finance Agency. He serves on the Ohio Water\n\nDevelopment Authority\, the Ohio Expositions Commission. Prior\n\nto the Development Services Agency\, he was Director of the Ohio\n\nDepartment of Commerce\, the state?s chief regulatory agency.\n\nGoodman is a dedicated public servant with a proven track record for\n\neffective advocacy and leadership. He served in the Ohio Senate as\n\nChairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee for Civil Justice\, Ways &\n\nMeans\, Economic Development\, Environmental and the Committee on\n\nHealth\, Human Services and Aging. He also served in the Ohio House\n\nof Representative and on his local city council.\n\nGoodman?s passion for small business is rooted in his own experience\n\nas a small business owner and a lawyer. He served as Assistant\n\nAttorney General for the state of Ohio. In the private practice\, he\n\nspecialized in health care and the representation of professionals.\n\nBorn and raised in Ohio\, Director Goodman is a graduate of Bexley\n\nHigh School\, Miami University and the Case Western University\n\nCollege of Law.
