DESCRIPTION:For many small business owners\, your business planning is on the back burner while you are doing the work and serving your clients.  Come to this session for some simple ways you can update your business plan and develop practical action steps to reach your goals for the new year.  If you have a current business plan\, feel free to bring it to make notes and work through planning items privately during the session.\n\n\n\nThe session will be facilitated by Calista H. Smith\, President\, C H Smith & Associates\, LLC.   Calista began C H Smith & Associates (CHS&A) in 2011 to make good things happen. Smith leads the organization in service to efforts focused on the greater good for communities\, including economic development and small business success.  She has facilitated strategic planning processes for organizations such as the Institute for Higher Education Policy\, GRAD Cincinnati\, and Middletown Moving Forward.  Before starting C H Smith & Associates\, Calista was an administrator with Butler Tech.\n\n\n\nSmith was also a senior consultant with Haverstick Consulting\, facilitating teams in project management methodologies to create business plans and implement technology applications. As a certified project management professional (PMP) with a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business\, Calista Smith provides meticulous project management\, process improvement\, practical guidance\, meaningful strategy and evaluation expertise to help clients achieve their goals.
